Hello Dolly Bars

  • Author: Dan Pelosi

What You'll Need

Scale
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 1½ cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1½ cup semisweet chocolate chips*
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

*You could also add butterscotch chips, which work well in this recipe. Just divide the amount of chips to a ratio of chocolate to butterscotch that makes you happy.

What You'll Do

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°.
  2. Butter a quarter sheet pan or a 9×13 pan, then line it with parchment. The butter helps the parchment adhere to the pan and is an extra step I like to take. You can skip it, or join me in being extra.
  3. Mix melted butter and crushed graham crackers together. Spread mixture around the bottom of pan evenly. Spread chocolate chips, nuts and coconut evenly across the pan, in that order. Pour the can of condensed milk evenly on top.
  4. Bake 350° 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
  5. Let cool, remove parchment, and slice into bars! Enjoy!
